Male #chough feeding his female, giving her a few moments away from brooding her eggs.
The first feed is generally delivered at the nest, with subsequent feeds taking place outside as she follows the male out of the nesting site.

A beach clean down at Port Nan Gallen this afternoon, a pretty thankless task due to years of waste being pushed in by strong tidal currents.
But the volunteers and myself managed to get stuck in and clear a good amount!

Greenland White-fronted Geese.
The seasonal tenure of these distinctive, migratory geese is almost at its end once again, here on Islay.
Hopefully a successful breeding season lies ahead for them, numbers of juveniles has been incredibly low this winter.
