Happy Earth Day! I hope everyone has the chance to get out and enjoy the nature of SD23 today— from the beach at Coney Island to the Graniteville Quarry, I’m proud to represent a district that has so many natural wonders.

Ensuring our older adults can recognize signs of scams, fraud, and abuse — and know their rights and how to protect themselves & their property — is critical. I’m glad to bring these vital resources to the residents of Saints Joachim & Anne Nursing & Rehab Center in Coney Island.

Our office stopped by the Ghost Angels Baseball Media Day to meet the team and wish them luck for the 2024 season! Congratulations to Coach Max Guadalupe Jr and the Coney Island Youth Organization on putting together a strong team here in Coney Island! ⚾️

Thank you Council Member David Carr for organizing this street co-naming in honor of Giovanni Da Verrazzano & the 500th anniversary of his sailing up the narrows. His voyage forever altered the course of history, and its so important to honor the contributions of Italian Americans here in NY.

My office had to the opportunity to join Marine Corps League Det. 246 for their Annual Devil Dogs Breakfast. A great way to bring the community together to support the USMC.
