A gentleman from Hull ruined his own holiday today. He discovered that the York city centre safer neighbourhood team will not tolerate threats against staff in stores. He is considering this in a cell at Fulford road police station at the moment.

Last Friday, on Acomb Road, near to the junction with Carr Lane, an offender cut a lock and fled with a stolen bike - dark red and purple with silver handlebars and black wheels.

Sadly, two teenage males on their bikes thought it would be funny to try to disrupt the cubs parades today and ruin things for everyone else.
They are now walking home with dispersal notices in their pockets. They can collect their cycles from the police station another day.

Great to see all the cubs out on parade today for St Georges day in the city centre. It was nice for us on the city policing team to be able to support them along with Minster police.

10PM last night, York city centre police dealt with a group of approximately 20 mid teens. One child was arrested for assault and others given orders to leave.
York city, late evening is not an appropriate place for a child.
