Warm and Breezy Today...
It will start out sunny, but clouds and low end rain chances will increase late this afternoon into early this evening from northwest to southeast. Highs will be near 80 inland, and
low to mid 70s along the coast.

The 2024 Lyrids meteor shower is nearly half over! Still have some opportunities to view across Southeast NC and Northeast SC during the rest of the week. The nearly full moon and a few passing high clouds may hinder views during the week, could see more opaque clouds Wed night.

Little to no rain expected the next several days. For April, this is not unusual as the seasons are in transition.

After a cold start, temperatures will warm under bright sunshine, but still remain below normal with highs in the low 70s inland and mid to upper 60s along the coast.

Unseasonably cool weather expected today with lingering clouds and chance of rain this morning followed by increasing sunshine this afternoon. Temps will only make it into the 60s.
