: As the humanitarian crisis in worsens, hundreds of people have fled to Uganda in search of safety.

Yet severe underfunding of the humanitarian response means there is not enough aid to meet all the needs.

: There are some traditions that displacement can’t erase. Through her   skills, Rahmo brings happiness to women and girls in Mogadishu camp. She fled from violence in Southern Somalia two years ago with her 9 children. Now she is rebuilding her life in a camp.

An explosion of violence can and must be prevented.

We need unhindered access for humanitarian aid.

Civilians must be protected. Heroic local volunteers who still save lives must be protected and supported.

The lives of 1.5 million people in Al Fasher are at stake.

All roads to Fasher are choked. Fuel is running out, thus limiting access to water & preventing people fleeing. Food prices are skyrocketing when most were already hungry.
Harrowing reports tell of children dying of malnutrition, & people surviving on leaves & soil.

Deeply concerned about a possible assault on, and deadly violence in, Al Fasher city, North Darfur.

Since the war's start, 100.000s fled to the city. They are now trapped & violence is escalating.

Witnesses describe large scale burning of homes & increasing killings.
