Yesterday I had a conversation with one of my colleagues

They will soon be moving from a band 4 to a band 5 in the NHS as they have obtained their nursing degree

The initial pay increase ....£200 per year. Absurd

As this statement has been called in to question I thought I'd attach the table this information was obtained from. This relates to NHS Scotland for clarification.

NHS Nurses The NHA Party BladeoftheSun £12 parking fee last week whike we spent 10 hours in the back of an ambulance in A & E car park. I was advised to follow the ambulance in my own car. The wrong decision as I was really not fit to drive home at 5am with my daughter still unwell.

A promotion should be a promotion it's that simple and yet apparently simply unthinkable in the NHS

Siobhan I was talking to a Band 2 Ward Clerk. She is 1p above the minimum wage. Apparently if you have things such as a lease car you go below that. No problem writing off billions in failed PPE , but giving staff a decent pay increase is an outrageous idea. 😡😡😡😡😡

I’m shocked a quarter of us would still recommend it.

Overworked, underpaid and under attack across the media/in politics.

This was the best health service in the world. We are being driven out. And then they have the audacity to say it’s not working.

Charging people to park at hospitals is deplorable

If you are visiting someone who is ill, it is already a stressful time

If you parking as an #NHS employee then you are part of a team working to make things better for people and their families

Either way, outrageous!
