Moving a 6,000-pound spacecraft is tricky, like when we maneuvered NASA Europa Clipper into JPL's thermal vacuum chamber, where teams simulated the conditions it will experience in space.

Up next: Moving the spacecraft from our California clean room to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Water can be found in regions around black holes! Similar to how lasers amplify visible light, water can amplify microwave light. These “water masers” can be particularly bright near the central black holes in certain galaxies. Learn more: go.nasa.gov/3U0YzDJ

Just this morning, Hubble changed its clock. 🕒

Remember Y2K? It turns out Hubble has something similar – only Hubble’s clock restarts every 6,213 days, 18 hours, 48 minutes, and 31.875 seconds.

AKA, about every 17 years, so today marked Hubble's second clock change!

Peak solar activity this year will give two NASA spacecraft – MAVEN and Curiosity – the opportunity to study solar maximum from Mars.

Their findings could help design radiation protection for future astronauts on the Red Planet. 👩‍🚀 go.nasa.gov/49X3CKb

I've been sniffing traces of methane in Gale Crater for years, but why it's there and how it behaves has puzzled scientists. A new proposal suggests that the gas may be sealed under solidified salt deposits in the Martian regolith: go.nasa.gov/4aKfaS5
