5 years ago today I was in a birthing pool, 8cms dilated, focusing on my breathing, when a midwife entered the room with her laptop and asked my husband to fix something on her NHS mail. DURING THE BIRTH OF MY FIRST CHILD.

Never tell anyone your husband is in NHS IT.
