#MukuruDarkestHour Survivors and victims today in the morning met with a contingent of police officers deployed to do forced evictions despite an active case in court. They mobilised in numbers to resist joined by the area leaders in solidarity to stand with the people.

The Public Finance Management Act states that 2% of the county allocation be set by each county for Disaster Management Emergencies in every financial year. Governor Sakaja should tell us where the money is and why it's taking long.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta donates 2 million to Kenyans affected by #flooding but he decides Red Cross will manage that money well than the government. Another blow to President William Ruto and his government.

Residents of Mukuru Kwa Njenga are protesting against the illegal demolition, demanding to be heard. Embakasi South area MP Musili Mawathe is also on site. With floods and the high costs of living in Kenya, the government still decides to evict it's people.
