Cardiac tamponade is a life-threatening condition where fluid accumulates in the pericardium, compressing the heart and impairing its function. Prompt recognition and intervention are crucial to prevent severe complications or death.

Minimally invasive repair (TEVAR) for a contained rupture of descending thoracic aorta resulting in tracheal compression.

BP = Blood pressure
PA= Pulmonary artery pressure
CVP= Central venous pressure
CO = Cardiac output
Rx = Treatment
