Today I got to shake hands with Governor Andy Beshear who came to help us celebrate becoming a Distinguished School! So proud of Luhr Elementary and all of the hard working staff. 🦁 💙💛

Huge congratulations to everyone at Mattie B. Luhr Elementary for being awarded the ESEA Distinguished School Award – an honor given to fewer than 100 schools in the country. Your hard work has paid off, and we are so proud of you.

Congratulations to ⁦Luhr Elementary⁩ for being named a National Distinguished School - 1 of just 65 in the U.S. whose math and reading scores have risen dramatically the past 3 years. And thanks to ⁦Governor Andy Beshear⁩ for accepting Muhammad’s invitation to his school!
