So my rant about shops requiring masks has really triggered a lot of people, telling me they are being kind by wearing one. No, you aren't. You are prolonging the fear of those who are genuinely still fearful.

@AbiChippindale I've yet to see someone wearing a mask who actually thinks it's worth wearing it properly. It's debatable if they bring any benefit when worn properly - but firmly established there can't be any benefit when not worn properly. It is simply a sign of fear, compliance or virtue.
