Georgetown HS, home of the Governor’s Cup and the UIL State Soccer Tournament, is looking for its next head boys soccer coach.

The job is posted on the GISD website. Teaching assignment is looking like social studies or special education.

An educator who has impacted me in GTown is Ms. Grace Lisenby! She has high expectations, balanced with a love of students and an incredible sense of humor. She helps me be a better principal and I am grateful for her! Grace Lisenby

I will never forget my high school English teachers Ms. Julian & Ms. Finley.

I re-wrote a Frankenstein essay 5 times…and it still was bad! But they taught me to never give up. Their passion for both content & students was so contagious! They were the best!

We are fired up to announce the addition of Coach Herman to our staff. Coach Herman comes to us with over a decade of head coaching experience. We can’t wait to get him on the field with the Eagles. Georgetown Football #EFND #GTDNA

Congratulations to Joe and Nolan on a 1st 🥇 place and a 3rd 🥉 place finish at the Texas UIL state track meet this morning in the 3200!
These guys are putting an exclamation mark on a great track season!
We are proud of you !

It is pretty amazing that two of the medalists at the STATE track meet are Georgetown HS student-athletes.

The most awesome thing about this is that they are both just such smart, talented, incredible human beings all-around!
