Appalled reading that Education Authority has suggested this. Education NI, the EA is accountable to you, this narrative is unacceptable. Safeguarding vulnerable children (vetting) isn’t an after thought & suggesting non-teaching staff provide mere ‘childcare’ is demeaning. FAIR PAY✊🏼

The suggestion by Education Authority that parents step in to cover SEN school strikes is truly astonishing! It undermines the work of striking staff, pits them against parents, raises safeguarding concerns, and fails to consider parents own work obligations for a start....
