Fact Sheet: Assisted suicide is a threat to BIPOC’s fight to get the standard of care and coverage they need. Equality in healthcare should be the first concern, not equality in death dealing. patientsrightsaction.org/wp-content/upl…

Sam 🏳️‍🌈🇹🇼 Not Dead Yet No, I’m against doctor assisted suicide. If someone is in agony and terminal, that’s what palliative sedation is for. I live with level 8-10 pain every waking moment. I still don’t want assisted suicide, which puts large numbers of people and communities in danger.

Sam 🏳️‍🌈🇹🇼 Not Dead Yet The docs ultimately make the choice, anyway. Why do you want to endanger folks? Besides, it’s not really about pain, it’s about disability. You’d rather be dead than disabled.

Anita Cameron Sam 🏳️‍🌈🇹🇼 Not Dead Yet In the US doctors don't make the decision. The patient has to make the request and no one can act on their behalf.
Why would you want to punish terminally ill people who want this option?
I fully support disability rights and assisted dying.
