M&E Director MoPIED, Mr. Mohamud S. Nur, chaired the 3rd National M&E Committee meeting. Key topics included the National M&E Policy, e-NIMIS, evaluation procedures, and capacity building. Project evaluations of UNICEF, WFP, SomReP, & UN annual reports were also discussed.

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has kicked off the preparation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) for 2025-2029 today. The plan aims to steer Somalia towards sustainable development, economic stability, & long-term prosperity.

The event brought together a wide array of stakeholders, including representatives from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), Federal Member States (FMS), the United Nations, international partners, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.
