Turkey to provide Capacity and TechSupport to the Somalia Early warning Center. In a video conference participated by @MoHADM, Turkish officials promised to support the centre with digital weather forecast, remote sensing, drought prediction and Monitoring systems.

In an effort to strengthen the BRA Office’s emergency management systems for faster and more effective disaster prevention and responses, @mohadm_Somalia contributes to the establishment of a multi hazard early warning centre for Banadir Regional Administration (BRA).

@MoHADM congrats World Food Programme for winning the 2020 Nobel peace prize award. WFP’ efforts contributed massively in bettering conditions for peace in The world.

Today, @MoHADM_Somalia convened stakeholders from the different spheres of government to consult on the (SOP) for #disasterriskreduction. DRR is an interdepartmental process, wherein each sphere of government plays a role and performs a set of responsibilities in the process.

It gives me a great pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to serve my country in one of the multitasking Ministries that is established by H.E Mohamed Farmaajo to cushion the effects of hardships of disasters in the country. Many thanks to Mohamed Hussein Roble for the opportunity.
