My last day at Business Education was just amazing! I can’t thank the department, the pupils and the wider school staff enough for all the support and for making my time at Greenwood such a wonderful experience. Will miss you all 💖

Had a prep day off the laptop and spent my time watching one of my favourite tv shows, laminating and cutting! This year I’m saving on printing and paper and laminating plenary exit passes - cheers to reusable resources 👑

I have become that teacher that will remind her learners every day of how many weeks it is until their prelim! 🫣 Sorry that I’m not very arty 🥹

Reflection is such an important skill in education… if we don’t reflect and refine our practice we run the risk of getting stuck and not doing the best we can for our learners.

This post comes a little later but a huge well done to all our S6 girls who took part in Future Asset competition 2023! The girls of St Joseph's Academy achieved Highly Commended and even got to take part in the creation of the Future Asset video which was shown in Parliament! 🌟✨

This is why I do the job I do. As a teacher, I genuinely want to do the best by every young person and to help them achieve but for them to take the time to carefully select a card and gift to say thank you - it genuinely means the world 🌍

So proud of the pupils and staff at St Joseph's Academy for delivering THEE best school show I have ever seen. Total hard work, dedication and talent from each and every one of you! It was a true pleasure to watch Guys and Dolls last night and wish I could come and see it again tonight 💖
