In the world of Delicious in Dungeon, the term 'Troll' started out as halfling slang for Tall-Men that all the other races mistakenly took as genuine mythology and ran with. They are certified haters.

I've been actively holding back from even hinting at Chimera Falin since 2018 and even though I know that hasn't prevented the rest of the internet from full-on posting those pages over and over again since episode 1 I'm glad that this reveal is finally and totally out there.

'Animalistic naivety' is a good descriptor of Chimera Falin's brief distraction by the undine but it's also a glimmer of Falin's humanity, of her previous fascination with the natural (and unnatural) world flickering through before the beast's survival instinct takes hold again.
