The Tiger Won't Eat The Dragon Yet, has been my favorite read of 2024 so far. It is visually distinct from anything else out right now, and surprisingly dense. I love with how it mixes man & beast perspectives on how to live, love and eat, within the chaos of a food chain:

And YES THERE IS GORE! With plenty of blood and guts and chunks of people smeared all over. It's very detailed as well, so if you have taste for violence, I think you'll be very satisfied with the Invincible art book 😈

I picked up 'The Tiger Won't Eat The Dragon Yet' by Hachi Inaba. It's about a Tiger that hunts down a dragon, but spares him because he is too young to be worthy prey. I had my eye on this manga for a while, I'm really impressed with the inks and the way Inaba drew the animals.

This is a good example of why mangaka are some of the most interesting artists in the world. They constantly push, to find new & unconventional ways of telling stories. The rivalry between the Tiger & Dragon is well known, but I've never seen it explored in a way like this before
