Hey Guys, back to work today, thanks again for the messages of support when we lost my Father-in-law. Can't tell you how much it meant to me, Becky and her family to see all the condolences on social media.

If some of you guys will just admit you've never like the Cousins signing we can cut through the BS. Hell you could've rolled the dice on Fields as a one year insurance policy and draft Penix.

Nearly a week since the Atlanta Falcons drafted Penix.
They could've gone all in with Cousins and pick a player who can impact the team immediately. But they were so freaked out by the 2 yrs of QB Hell, they hedge on not being bad again. But that's not trying to be great either.

My wife's family lives in Chambersburg, PA. Just got back. That area is a mashup of Ravens, Commanders, Eagles & Steelers fans. All of whom asked me repeatedly 'What the hell are the Atlanta Falcons doing drafting a QB at 8?' I told them it made no sense to me either.

Lost my Father-in-law this week. Toughest guy I ever knew. A proud Marine, Farmer, Dad & Grandfather. Like a Father to me.

I like the Atlanta Falcons defensive line picks (although Ruke Ohrhorhro is considered a reach). I guess they feel Clark Phillips is your starting corner opposite AJ?

After speaking with Atlanta Falcons GM Terry Fontenot sounds like they were locked in on Michael Penix Jr. They see him as that transformative QB. And expect to not have a top 20 pick anytime soon. Only time will tell... As a season ticket holder & fan just hope he's right.

Hopefully the Atlanta Falcons will find impact defensive pieces tonight. It still doesn't diminish the fact drafting a QB after signing a starting QB makes no sense. Hope it all works out. But if the GM was so concerned about QB succession why not draft Justin Fields in 2021?
