ILO Lusaka and Sweden in Mozambique have signed a USD$ 16, 349 million MozTrabalha phase II project to be implemented for 5-years in Mozambique. This is a testimony to strong relationship and partnership between Govt, partners, Swedish Govt and International Labour Organization.

ILO Lusaka Director George Okutho says the USD$ 17 million MozaTrabalha II Sweden in Mozambique funded project seeks to promote employement & decent work for Mozambican women and men living in poverty, using a systems approach with focus on structural transformation and just transitions.

.Sweden in Mozambique Ambassador to Mozambique Mette Sunnergren says ILO Lusaka is a longstanding partner to Sweden in Mozambique in the area of decent work. She said this during the signing ceremony of the USD$ 17 million Sweden in Mozambique funded OIT_Moztrabalha II project in Maputo today.

.ILO Lusaka Director George Okutho says the USD$ 17 million Sweden in Mozambique funded OIT_Moztrabalha II project interventions will reduce unemployment rate which stand 17.40% (male) and 17.70% (female) to 13.40% (male) and 13.90% (female) by year 2026. He said at the signing ceremony.
