Had a good conversation with RMI about creating a strong clean energy infrastructure. Montgomery must continue to be a forward leaning city and take advantage of ever-evolving clean energy to build a more robust energy infrastructure, and provide affordable utilities.

Today, I signed Alabama’s first city ordinance aimed at combatting gun violence. When enforced, anyone in Montgomery who is carrying a concealed firearm on their person or in their car must have a valid ID. The City Council and I are committed to making sure our city is safer.

We’re going to use every measure possible to reduce the amount of illegal guns on our streets. SR
