The Mayor managed to fit in one last ribbon-cutting for a new local business on Monday! The Crazy Goat Coffee Shop opened its doors to residents of Petts Wood with the help of the Mayor of Bromley & Mayor of Bexley.

Biggin Hill ATC marked their 60th anniversary with a grand parade & church service at St George’s RAF Chapel. The Mayor commended the volunteers & young people taking part for keeping alive the memory of those who were based at Biggin Hill during World War Two.

The weather could not have been better for the Annual St Christopher's Hospice Fun Walk in Keston on Sunday. The Mayor was delighted to support one of our borough's proudest institutions in their efforts to provide excellent palliative care to all who need it.

Students at Bromley High School held a MasterChef competition, and the Mayor had the honour of choosing a winner from the delicious top eight dishes in the final last week.

The sun is finally out (intermittently), and in celebration a brand new Orpington May Queen has been crowned! The Mayor was in attendance to congratulate the 75th May Queen at Priory Gardens.

Last week the Mayor hosted a tea party at the Old Palace for some remarkable Bromley residents that he has met during his term: 103 year-old RAF Vet Peter Lemon, 9 year-old Vascular EDS campaigner Mia & 12 year-old Betsi, who has documented her fight with Cancer.
