A reminder:
You can’t be ‘infected with AIDS’.
Blood or any other body fluid can’t carry AIDS.
There is no such thing as an AIDS test.
AIDS is the umbrella term for the illnesses that occur when HIV is untreated.

If you’ve been moved / appalled by yesterday’s damning report on the #InfectedBlood scandal, which led to the deaths of 1,000s, I recommend getting insight from Mark Antony Ward (Mark Antony Ward), who faced down his childhood HIV diagnosis with a determination to live fabulously.

The government must now take responsibility for this scandal & implement the recommendations of the Infected Blood Inquiry in full.

A scandal like this cannot be allowed to happen again.

The infected & affected now need the compensation they deserve.
