Liverpool still haven’t won the league in front of fans since 1990. And they’re not going to win it this year. It’s all gone wrong for Jurgen Klopp. A sweet night for United fans. An even sweeter night for Evertonians, who are now all but safe from the drop.

Here is the clip of Reform UK’s Ben Habib saying that migrants should be allowed to drown in the Channel. He has taken badly to being called out on it. Which is odd, because that’s kind of what happens in politics. Politicians get scrutinised.

Ben Habib, Co-Deputy Leader of Reform UK, says something outrageous, gets called out on it, and becomes abusive. Behaviour unbecoming of a politician. Does Richard Tice support this approach or is he not a strong enough leader to deal with it?

Reform UK has been good news for Labour. But be in no doubt. It is a dangerous project. Today Ben Habib made absolutely clear that he would let migrants drown in the Channel rather than rescue them. Richard Tice should fire him - unless he agrees with him, of course.

How tragic that St George’s Day, representing as it should all the great things about England, is marked today by the passing of the Safety of Rwanda scam through the Houses of Parliament. Sunak and the Tories have done terrible damage to a proud nation.
