I’ve been working for real wins for regular Alaskans. That means fighting for infrastructure investment for places like Anchorage, alongside other communities all across the state. This is how we build a better future for our state.

I think it’s fair to say that teachers do better jobs when they don’t have to worry about whether or not they can afford rent or their next meal.

Preserving our languages is a way to preserve our history, culture, and way of life. That's why I am pushing to fund programs to preserve the languages in our communities - particularly Alaska Native communities whose languages are at risk of extinction.

The fight for worker rights is a fight for all Alaskans. Strong unions, fair wages, and safe working conditions protect individual workers and the families that depend on them. Defending their right to organize without penalty or retribution is how we help them fight for us.
