I am mesmerised by this airport!

All good things come to an end! Thoroughly enjoyed this wellcation, one of the best holidays ever. No laptop, no emails, just chillax, Finishing it off at this amazing theme park airport with waterfall, crystal clouds, indoor garden and shopping galore! Seeing the world matters!

Tiger Temple, 1900 steps up the mountain. Ali made it and took this photo. I didn’t dare go beyond the base dodging monkeys who snatch anything from you food or otherwise. Spent time making friends paying beach volleyball (winning team of course) and later aqua aerobics. Fun!

I am disgusted by those undermining the rule of law in this country. I am leaving the U.K. until they are gone. It is despicable they have benefited from this country and now pretend to be whiter than snow. Don’t feel comfortable in your own skin and failed to deliver? Leave!

A day spent on speed boat touring the Islands with the fabulous tour guide Fay, aka Mary Poppins, of Sea Eagle Tours, who uses her large sparkly umbrella ☔️ for us to follow. Excellent value, very enjoyable. Jelly fish season, had to dodge a few in the waters around the beaches.

Don’t do this on Safari in Africa! Thai elephants are tame!

Visited elephant care home today. Came face to face in close contact with friendly elephants in the sanctuary. Each weighing about 2-3 tons. Fed the elephants bananas and sticky rice/vitamins balls. Had the opportunity to bathe them. Seen elephants in African Safaris, not close.

Total relaxation today. I skipped the 4 hour trek trail. Left that for the offsprings to enjoy. They would have been nudging me along to hurry up! Not doing that today! Opted for a relaxing day and beach party instead. Excellent DJ and good conversations with the Swiss manager.

South Sudan “Bright Stars” have qualified for the Paris Olympic Basketball tournament. For a nation of just 12 years what a triumphant display of resilience & determination. A reminder that no matter where you come from you can achieve greatness with courage, hard work and grit.

Watched sunset from the Hilltop restaurant. Spectacular views of the sea and towering mountain range which wraps around the Town as if to protect it. Enjoyed the night market full of Thai culture, crafts and mouth watering street food and entertainment, live music and fire show.

My next stop is Thailand for wellcation experience. The unspoilt Andaman Sea resort has everything built around minimalist luxury exuding wellness, health and sustainability, the concept of Bio-Circular-Green model. Lots of environmentally friendly activities & natural therapies.

Singapore was lovely. I will remember it for its greenery and the city’s pride in keeping everything looking pristine at all times. Service was amazing. I picked up this definition of “Great” along the way which resonates with my own ideals! Loved the city. Could live here!

Looking forward to a fascinating milestone year. Life begins at … Taking it easy and travelling around the world starting in this beautiful city full of greenery and glitter. Small is really beautiful!

Celebrated my big day with my loved ones in the West End today. A pleasant surprise to Lion King, the musical, one of the all time favourites. Amazing story line, costumes and music. Takes me right back to Africa where I am soon heading. Good prep!
