35 days and swifts will be back in the UK. Are you ready to do your bit? Do you already have nest boxes on your house?

I am concerned that Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council council is doing a litter lift in Reas Wood in mid April. Breeding birds will be disturbed. Mallard, other early nesters like blackbirds thrushes and dunnocks will be nesting.
What about people walking on bluebells and anemones?

Looking at my notes over the last 10 years, the first swifts seen in Northern Ireland range from April 14th to April 22nd. The average date for first sightings is April 18.9
