Injuries are out of control across MLB, with the Cubs and White Sox hit especially hard. Bellinger sounded optimistic about the injury following the game last night, now he joins the Cubs' best pitcher (Steele) and hottest hitter (Suzuki) on the injured list.

Arturas: 'This group, something doesn't work. I've got to find ways to find a group that's going to make improvements because we've done that for a couple of years now. It hasn't worked so everything is on the table.'

AK on inactive deadline: 'I'm always open to doing deals that will improve the team. When we didn't see deals to improve the team & compete for a playoff spot, I'm not gonna do it.

Going into this offseason, we're going to be more aggressive to find moves to improve the team.'

According to Bulls PR, Caruso’s injury is a re-aggravation of his left ankle sprain. Drummond stepped on Caruso’s right foot. And that initially slowed him. But Caruso exited in 3rd with left ankle injury.

Ok, the game is over, so it’s safe to post again 😂 Coby White has been a revelation this season. Just a testament to what hard work & belief in yourself can do for a young athlete. Coby was miked up tonight & put on a dazzling show for national television audience. On to Miami!

That’s 3 blown saves for Alzolay already. For the 2nd season in a row, Hoyer has given his manager a weak bullpen. Tough to win a division when your relief pitchers keep giving up leads late. Might be time to trade some of those minor league prospects for pitching help.
