Just heard Mike Seidel was among the layoff casualties at The Weather Channel. What a shame.

Mike is one of my all-time faves who covered many a hurricane. He wasn’t over-the-top; he just did his job very well.

#BGKY came into this day tied for 7th on its “all-time warmest April” list. Final numbers for the month aren’t official just yet, but we could climb a bit more on that list.
