Our Hazardous Incident Team took part in a joint training with the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene. The team went over case studies and worked on sampling techniques for solids, liquids, and gasses. The MFD HIT is based out of Station 7 and is also available for regional response.

AE Justin Jenkins was recognized this week for his years of dedicated service to the paramedic system at MFD. Even as an apparatus engineer, Jenkins maintains his paramedic license & continues to serve on the ambulance on occasion. Congrats on 8 years of paramedic service at MFD!

Our Code Enforcement Officers went door to door this morning ahead of the Mifflin Street Block Party to remind residents about safety expectations for today. Our Fire Prevention Division has been working with the neighborhood for weeks to help ensure a safe experience for all.
