Even though it's only been around for two years, the #TuskerLiteRwenzoriMarathon has significantly boosted tourism in the Kasese region.

Studies reveal that the marathon injected UGX 3.5 billion into Kasese's economy during the September weekend in 2023.

This certification, granted following a thorough evaluation process on March 23rd, 2024, in Kasese, meticulously assesses all aspects of the marathon route to ensure it adheres to the highest international standards.
