Here, we introduce Secondary label-based Unlimited Multiplexed DNA-PAINT (SUM-PAINT), a method that overcomes the limitations of DNA-PAINT in terms of speed and resolution and is capable of achieving virtually unlimited multiplexing at better than 15 nm spatial resolution. 3/9

Typical super-resolution fluorescence microscopy methods achieve very high spatial resolution but the multiplexing is severely compromised, practically limited to 3-4 colors at max. The “spatial proteomics” methods achieve high multiplexing but are limited in resolution. 2/9
