3 years after the Laurentian University bankruptcy, many are still feeling its effects. Staff lost jobs, professors were forced to retire, some students had to transfer schools while others had to abandon their studies. They are now telling their stories.

Today we remember the 14 women killed at Polytechnique Montreal 34 years ago. Gender-based violence remains a threat on campuses and CAUT recommits to fighting this hatred, misogyny and violence.

Motion by CAFA President and unanimously passed at CAUT Council to 'condemn the [6, 8, and 9] policy resolutions passed by the [UCP] and demand the [AB] Government respect human rights and institutional autonomy by defending public education from this hateful assault.'
