Having my first full weekend off in I don’t remember how long after submitting assessments this morning = joy! All made sweeter by the job offer I got a couple of days ago for my first part-time pre-sessional EAP job!! I know, I can’t process it either! #EAPlecturerinthemaking

Just finished the final lecture of my masters course! Still some assessment work to do and final reading but this feels like a bit of a milestone! Cannot believe how quickly this year is going, not long now until it will only be the dissertation left!

Stop trying to locate speech intelligibility in a particular type of voice! Also, intelligibility is the joint responsibility of speaker and listener.

Just submitted my final assessments for my masters which 'just' leaves the dissertation! More than anything I'm looking forward to being able to focus on a single topic rather than constantly swapping between subjects!

Woke up this morning to the news that University of St Andrews have ranked first in the country on the times uni guide for the first time and this afternoon found out I got a distinction in my dissertation module! Overall a pretty proud day to be a St A student!

Well… I guess it’s official now!
