⚠️ Incident 24/4/24

On this day we remember the 56 people who died and 256 people injured in the Bradford City Stadium fire on 11 May 1985. The disaster led to new safety standards in UK football grounds, including banning new wooden grandstands. Our thoughts are with those affected.

Today is Firefighters' Memorial Day, when we remember and honour all those who have lost their lives while serving their communities.
It's also the day of St Florian, the patron saint of firefighters.

🚒 Tonight’s training was about Decontamination: Emergency, Initial and Full.

⚠️ Learning about equipment needed to set up that we carry on our pump in the event of a Hazardous materials incident.

🍰 Drill night completed with a debrief and cakes from FF Alfie.
