Almost 5 years to the day since we saw our first minotaur beetle, in NE #Hampshire (⬅️). Reportedly 'widespread, but scarce, in England and Wales', it was therefore nice to be able to help this one (➡️) across a busy footpath at the edge of Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve.

Spotted Redshank-Normandy Lagoon Y'day. Nice to be able to stop & have a look at this bird on the way to see the Marsh Sandpiper found by Andy F, my second Marsh Sandpiper in the Keyhaven & Pennington Marshes area. It looked like the combination of a broken anchor/mooring chain, a high tide, and the 'wrong wind' might have been the cause of this boat's unfortunate 'relocation' to Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve, but, with limited access options, it doesn't look like an easy 'fix'.
Tessa Bennett #bemoretoddy Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve It was still a bit of a Bambi-in-horse-form, but seemed to be doing OK.
Bob Chapman BirdTrack Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve Hampshire Ornithological Society It is a great reserve Bob,managed just under 70 species this morning in exactly 3hrs( max Car park at Keyhaven). Missed a few as it was a bit of a yomp at times!! I counted 11 waders just on the 'Marsh Sand' lagoon , pretty impressive.
