It has been such a wonderful experience collaborating with UCL on this project!
A personal highlight of using the bike was speaking to people at Black Pride who told me about the event’s history, and its importance for LGBTQIA+ people seeking sanctuary in the U.K.

Excitement UCL East campus as The Voices of East Bank training day kicks off. This Heritage Lottery-funded project aims to create oral histories from the East End, starting with an exploration of Cockney heritage and the diversity of language.
