He was the shortest favourite since Tiger Woods in his prime & he won in dominating fashion, just like Tiger did. Congratulations Scottie Scheffler - 2x Masters champion, clear world no.1 & expectant father. Life is grand! #themasters

We spend so much time focusing on the players, we sometimes overlook what The Masters means to the rest of us. It’s a spiritual experience that connects people like no other place or event. If only ANGC was in charge of running the free world. #themasters

Got to like where Cameron Davis finds himself after 2 rounds. His elite ball-striking in trying conditions has given the affable Aussie a legitimate shot at the Green Jacket with 36-holes to play. Dare we say “c’mon Aussie!”? #themasters

Great to see Max Homa in the hunt in a major. I’ve never understood why people who aren’t pros bag players who are for not meeting their expectations. That why Teddy Roosevelt’s Man in the Arena is so pertinent. #themasters

This is the hardest fact for Tiger - the mind is willing but the body isn’t. Can show glimpses of his prime when fresh, but 72 holes is almost impossible. I still marvel that he musters the desire to go through so much pain for a few more major “chances”. #themasters

So much is made (& rightly so) about Scottie’s ball-striking, however his work around the greens is massively under appreciated. Great approach shots mixed with elite scrambling is a lethal combination at Augusta National #themasters

Bryson’s comment a few years back saying “it’s basically a par 67 for me” (paraphrasing) is starting to seem real.
You should never tempt the golf gods like that & it cost him a few embarrassing days, but he’s looking very dangerous now. #themasters
