Am happy to announce that Banjul is now a member of The Institute of the Regions of Europe after months of discussions and lobbying. This membership will open more doors for development projects to flow into our city.

In order to explore potential support from the Austria Development Agency for REFELA, I had a bilateral meeting with Ambassador Dr. Andreas Liebmann, the Deputy Director General of the development division for international affairs, at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As Deputy Mayor of Banjul, I was honored to represent our Lord Mayor Mayor of Banjul Rohey Malick Lowe in handing over vital hydraulic equipment to the GFRS, courtesy of our Banjul-Oostende City Link Stad Oostende. This key support from Ostend enhances our emergency responses and fortifies our city bonds

I attended the Bun Foday School Annual Quranic Recitation (TARRI) in Mandinaba in my capacity as the mother of the organization. The program was named after Alagie Momodou Turo Darboe who is a philanthropist and helps a lot when it comes to the advancement of Islam.

I have been conferred with an honorary membership of the Bijilo Rotary Club, making me now a full fledged member of the Club. What an honor! If you wish you can as well call me Rotarian Lowe Malick.
