It was very pleasant to see that no one in New Zealand expects any tips. The view is that if a business isn’t paying a decent wage to employees, they should go out of business, & not rely on customers to tip. Servers will themselves cross out tips column!

The latest luxury amenity in hotels is the “overflow bathtub”. It has an extra bowl around it to collect the overflow water so that u can immerse upto chin level. It can also be used to have a constant flow of fresh water!
