Preparing to come back to work tomorrow, I’ve had long periods off with maternity leave but it feels harder returning after a loss. Not feeling my usual confident self but I’m taking steps in the right direction. Looking forward to seeing everyone albeit a little daunting too 😊

Some days grief hits you harder- I’m learning it’s not something I’ll get over, but learn to live with. I need to be kind to myself. I’m not one to take time off or ‘be sick’ but it’s days like today I’m reminded I’m not ok, and that’s ok, I may never be fully #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay

It’s been an extremely difficult and traumatic for me and my family I want to thank everyone at Hampshire Hospitals for looking after me in ED,theatres and the womens health unit, everyone was so kind, caring and compassionate in a really tough and scary time. #thankyou #LoveTheNHS 💙
