I am deeply saddened by the passing of Congressman Donald Payne, a tireless advocate for New Jersey. Having served with his brother Bill in the Assembly, I have seen firsthand the Payne family's steadfast dedication to public service. Donald's legacy will continue to inspire us.

Today is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. In November, I had the privilege of visiting the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum, where I spoke with the inspiring Vietnam veterans who serve as tour guides. Thank you to our Vietnam vets for your service.

Today Louis Greenwald and pam lampitt were joined by local leaders to share NJ Department of Community Affairs's issuing of 'Local Recreational Improvement Grants.' These grants provide municipalities and school districts across the state with funding to help improve public areas in our local communities.
