#RPU stopped this car transporter on the A1 near Grantham today. Vehicle being driven despite prohibition in place issued by DVSA in Scotland yesterday. Driver reported for multiple offences and vehicle prohibited from further movement.

#RPU Recovered this stolen van in #WYBERTON earlier today on behalf of Kent Roads Policing (RPU). Great spot from an eagle eyed local resident, reuniting the owner with their van that was stolen overnight.

#RPU stopped another abnormal load on the A1 during the PM embargo times near Grantham. Driver dealt with for several offences including drug driving having tested positive for cannabis at roadside. The escort vehicle also had no tax and was dealt with separately.

#RPU stopped this shocker on the A1 near Grantham. The cab was questionably secured to the trailer and was 10% over the vehicles train weight of 3500kgs. Driver issued GFPN and vehicle prohibited from further movement in its current state.

#ARV Officers conducted a proactive stop on this vehicle on the A1500, Till Bridge Lane.

Checks showed the driver had no licence, and subsequently no insurance.

#RPU stopped this van on the A1 near Grantham as it travelled down the country. Vehicle fitted with tachograph. However, the driver failed to insert his drivers card. Driver issued GFPN and issued PG170 prohibition to take 11 hours rest before continuing journey.

#RPU stopped another overweight car transporter on the A1 today near Grantham. The driver appeared unaware the vehicle was 500 kgs over its GVW. They were suitably educated, given GFPN and vehicle prohibited.

#RPU reunited a stolen Land Rover with its victim following a sighting on the A1 near Newark on the back of transit heading north. Recovery vehicle used also reported stolen and subsequently seized.

#RPU stopped this crane and escort on A1 near Grantham during embargo times. No movement order in place and when an incorrect order was produced it was M1 not A1 so route completely wrong anyway. Driver reported and now parked for 2 days.

#RPU stopped two drivers in quick succession in #LINCOLN Both drivers tested positive at the roadside for drugs. The latter, had only held a full substantive driving licence for two days and had collided with two parked vehicles. Blood results pending…

🚨Court result - DP failed to attend the original court hearing. Warrant was issued and #RPU located and arrested the DP, in order for them to be placed before the next available court.

• 24 month disqualification from driving.
• £365 in fines.

#RPU stopped this vehicle today on the A46 near Lincoln as likely to be overweight. Luckily for the driver the weighbridge was closed however his license had expired and tested positive for cannabis. Driver arrested for Section 5A and also reported for the documents offences.
