There continues to be serious exploitation of care workers, both in the UK and via overseas 'recruitment firms'. This is what needs to be fixed, not whether people can remain with their loved ones while working here.

The care sector is overstretched and understaffed and care work is essential but undervalued. Banning overseas care workers from bringing their families is not going to help resolve the crisis in care. UK's economy needs migrant workers. Another shortsighted policy.
