When we work together, we can prevent and reduce violence in London. Since the VRU was set up by Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London in 2019, there has been a:
📉 22% reduction in homicides
📉 20% fall in knife crime with injury for those aged under 25
📉 16% reduction in robbery

🧡We believe violence is preventable, not inevitable.

✅In the past 5 years, we've invested in up to 350,000 positive opportunities and targeted interventions so that young Londoners can reach their full potential.
