I had an extra Christmas present today the gorgeous little Edward “Teddy” due in February decided to arrive in December making me a grandma for the third time. Thanks to the team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for the extra care he needed. It was hard to concentrate at work today Berkshire Healthcare #grandma

37 years ago today I started my nursing career at Barts. What a fabulous training it was, focused on patient centred basic nursing care. Living in London in the City and in Hackney was quite an adventure. Proud to have worked for the NHS for all of those 37 years.

Please get your COVID immunisation when you are offered it. My partner’s lovely Dad sadly died of COVID today after being in hospital the last 4 days 😢. His immunisation was booked for last Friday but it was too late for him as he had a positive COVID test 2 days before.
