Look at the size of the disposable vape litter today. This chunky pink one was found in two halves, it’s massive! Glad we’ve banned (1st April 2025) these wasteful disposable electronics that end up as litter!❌💨

What makes the litter emergency worse? When spring grass cutting teams come out and shred all of the litter along with the grass creating hundreds of microplastics and smaller bits of litter which are easier to blow around and harder to pick up.

Large fire breaks out at Kilwinning battery recycling plant in Scotland.

Emergency services advised residents to remain indoors while they dealt with the large blaze that started around 10pm on Monday.
