Congratulations to Bohan Pettipas on winning the Gold Medal, representing the Westville Boxing Club and Team Nova Scotia, at the Canada Cup of Boxing recently in Calgary. He was totally dominating in both his bouts!

Last week I was pleased to attend the P C Chamber of Commerce AGM.The guest speaker was Ava Czapalay, Nova Scotia Deputy Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration. I was surprised & delighted that she referenced the work we are doing in Westville on several housing initiatives.

Thank you so much to all who came out last night to express their thoughts on the location of the proposed Long Term Care Facility, which has been announced for Westville. Your participation in helping to shape the future of our town is greatly appreciated.

I was very pleased to join Minister Fraser, Mayor Dicks & Mayor Ryan at the HAF announcement today. Westville will receive 1.56 million $ which will enable our town to move forward on many projects resulting in increased housing developments. Change is coming to Westville!

This the way government should work. Personal views over party views. Working across party lines. Putting the best people in place in key positions. Well done!
Our late friend Meghan Bragg would be happy. She knew Brendan personally and spoke highly of him.

We plan to put the extra day we have this year to good use in Westville.
The Province will decide on the location of the facility but we want citizens input to pass on to the province to help with the decision!

After a brief absence I am delighted to be returning to the #nsfedmuni Board of Directors as a representative for the region of Pictou, Colchester, Cumberland and East Hants.

The future is bright for Pictou Landing First Nation based on the amazing kids and the dedicated staff at the school I met during my visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit but these kids were hard to catch!

I had the most amazing visit to Pictou Landing First Nation School yesterday.
All the staff and students were very welcoming. Zander performed the smudging in ceremony for me & the grade 3-4 class allowed me a photo op!

That is exactly what my initial thoughts were on this...it seems so simple but maybe that is why it wasn't considered, it just seems too easy!

I spent 6 years on the #NSFM Board of Directors but didn't reoffer in the November election and now an opening still exists for my region...I wonder if I should reoffer?!

Fantastic turnout today for our town Levee and kick off for the 150th Anniversary celebrations of our amazing Fire Department!
